It does, you just have to turn on uPnP on the router, and possibly update to the latest beta firmware.

If you don't want to turn on UPNP and only have one Xbox..

open and forward the following ports to the LAN address of the Xbox via the NAT options.

TCP/UDP 3074
UDP 88

Works fine for me
