Force workgroup name through DHCP on a 2820 was created by gdawes
Is this possible? from DHCP. on a 2820
I want to ensure all computers are in the same workgroup.
Even devices such as my INTERNET radio that has no workgroup setting to configure, hoping it would be set from dhcp.
Reason being unless workgroup is the same for all devices on LAN my INTERNET radio and some other appliances/devices can not see my synology ds109 which needs a workgroup name.

You can set the connection specific DNS suffix.
>sys domainname ?
Might that help?
