2600 plus as router behind NETGEAR DM111P was created by icarus
Hi
I have a 2600 plus that has served me well.
I am now moving to an ADSL2+ ISP so need a new modem.
If I buy a Netgear DM111P modem can I connect the 2600 to it & use all of its features except modem ?
http://www.netgear.co.uk/adsl_ethernet_modem_dm111p.php
If so how do I set it up ??
Sorry if this is an obvious question.
Cheers Icarus

No sorry.
The 2600 has an ADSL WAN connection, and you need a router with an ethernet WAN connection.
Have a look at the 2820 series - that should allow you to get connected with a single box.
