Vigor 2820vn and Western digital was created by digitalmind
Hi,
I am trying to connect my USB western digital hard drive 1TB to the USB port on the router. whenever I connect the USB to the router I loose the connection to the internet. The green light on DSL goes away.
is this a bug or there is something that I am missing in the setting?
Vigor 2820vn
Firmware Version : 3.3.2.1_232201

Replied by macavity on topic NAS / USB Storage partition size
The drive should be formatted with FAT32 with a maximum partition size of 500 GB.
3.3.3 has better USB support than 3.3.2.1 . I found that some USB disks or certain circumstances could cause 3.3.2.1 to reboot but that doesn't (well hasn't so far ! ) happen with 3.3.3.
