Thanks for the quick response. I have tried selecting syslog server which has always worked with the 2800VG. I also tried the USB disc option. This also doesn't work. The problem is that the 2820Vn doesn't read the options when I press OK. For instance, if I give the server IP address as asdfasdasdf and press OK, the 2820 is happy (?!) and doesn't complain. The system should remember the selection when I leave this option. The right hand page deals with SMTP and this is also cleared when I leave this menu....
I am going to try reverting to 3.3.2.1 tomorrow and see what happens.

Yesterday I reported:
Problem: Syslog does not work. Selection is cancelled when I move from Syslog menu to any other.
I reloaded 3.3.3 but the problem remains. I reverted to 3.3.2.1_232201 of Jul24. Now the Syslog page works and Syslog 4.2.0 running on an IBM ThinkPad reports incoming data on port 514. The older Syslog 1.11 on a Mac also works (on 1514) but doesn't have the additional info. Mail alert also works and sends test email correctly to my Mac.
Conclusion: bug in 3.3.3 in Syslog/Mail Alert page.
Also tested in 3.3.3 and 3.3.2.1: SNMP setup reports link activity correctly on port 162.

2820VN running 3.3.3_232201
1. On 2 occassions the web interface and SNMP service have died requiring a powerr cycle, web interface returns a 500 server error, insufficient resources, so probably a memory leak somewhere. Didn't attempt to telnet on but will next time.
2. SNMP is not reporting up status for the LAN interface, even though the port octet counters are incrementing.

I have actualy rolled back to 3.3.1.2 last night on both my router at home and at work...
reason been is that during logmein sessions - the session seemed to pause..... VPN and using VNC was fine and no loss in packets when doing a ping - but for some reason - it was causing logmein to hang every 30 seconds or so!

Previously I reported:
Problem: Syslog does not work. Selection is cancelled when I move from Syslog menu to any other.
..and this problem does not appear with 3.3.2.1. After discussion with the DrayTek team (thanks) it appears that the code for this page is no longer compatible with Safari (on a Mac). (sigh) However, there is no problem with Firefox. Functionality to Syslog server and SMTP server is OK.

And a follow up to the previous post, just lost a second router at another site to the 500 error within 24 hours of the first.
Still beaconed on wireless but was unable to actually connect a WPA2 session.
Could telnet to the box and it responded to help commands, an attempt to run show session died and the box had to be power cycled.
All of the 1st left hand row of green lights were on solid.
In use, wireless (B+G), VPN IPSEC tunnels.
