How to enable external ping was created by dave_reap
Hi Guys,

Simple one but I can't quite find it. I have a friend who is having a problem with his internet connection. He is using a Vigour 2800 series router.

His ISP wants him to enable external ping so they can ping the router to see when it is knocking off the net.

I cant seem to find this option anywere in the router. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Noone knows how to I can change the settings on the router to allow it to be pinged externally?

System Maintenance -> Management

Untick the box marked Disable PING from the Internet
