David - did you get it working? If so please could you share the answer as I have the same problems that you had and am a total loss as to what to try next

Hi Nick - sorry, only just picked this up, but I have not managed to get it working. I lost all internet connection yesterday and in trying to do some problem determination to find out if the problem was BT or the Vigor, I plugged in the BT Business Hub. Not only did it work, but the VSS popped up for the first time and worked a dream (only point here is that I had come to the conclusion that my VSS must be faulty, but it isn't). So having experienced the VSS (it is good), I am back on the trail of trying to get the 2910 working with it again. I'll post back if I do, but I am close to thinking it never will and now consider turning the 2910 in for a 2920 with Gigabit (since I read that the 2820 seems to work just fine). Please post back if you have had success in the last 3 weeks.
