I would like to extend the wireless range in the house for this router. What is the best option to do this? Is there a tried and tested range extender on the market?

The AP700 would work with it, either connecting as a universal repeater in 802.11G mode or if you connect it to the router using a wire you could have another wireless network with 802.11n

Thanks for the reply. Can I just confirm that the AP 700 will work as a stand alone repeater without needing to wire back to the original router? Has anybody had any experience with this product as a wireless repeater and the Vigor 2700?

As you can probably tell I have had bad experiences with wireless repeaters - mainly Belkin and netgear though.
