Firewall Filter setup issue was created by kingster_2069
Hi,
I've just brought a Draytek 2820 and I'm trying to set up my first firewall filter, but it isn't working.
I've started with a simple rule which should let any traffic from an external ip address to reach a machine on my local LAN. However it seems not to be working.
The setting are:
Firewall >> Edit Filter Set >> Edit Filter Rule >> Filter Set 2 Rule 1
Check to enable the Filter Rule: Checked
Comments: Allow traffic to web server
Index(1-15) in Schedule Setup: Blank
Direction: WAN -> LAN
Source IP: remote_ip_address (82.**.**.**)
Destination IP: 192.168.1.2
Service Type: Any
Fragments: Don't Care
Filter: Pas Immediately
IM/P2P Filter:None
URL Content Filter: None
Web Content Filter: None
Can anyone offer me advice on where I've gone wrong?
Many thanks in advance

It looks like that firewall rule should work however to forward traffic to an IP on your LAN, you'll also need to use the open ports / port forwarding, which is under the NAT menu. Once you've set that up then it should forward traffic to that internal IP without any problems.
