ok, I have used the same router, Draytech 2820N to try and use with my ADSL line, I can get a connection via the online status, which also shows the packets received and sent but when I browse I cannot get any web pages. I cannot ping or trace rt beyond the router. Where on earth am I going wrong!!! :?

In the WAN1 status box, does it have an IP address? If so, there's a few things that could cause that, first of all would be checking the computer's IP address, make sure the default gateway points to the router.
Also check accessing sites directly by IP, google's IP is 209.85.229.99 - if you can then it's a DNS issue - in which case, set your ISP's DNS servers directly either on the PC or from the router under LAN - General Setup - DNS Server IP (tick Force DNS manual setting).
If it's neither of those, which ISP is your router set up with?
