Trying to block outgoing port traffic was created by paul cheeseman
Hi

I am trying to block all computers on our network except exchange from using port 25 for outgoing traffic. I have a 3300v

On my last router it was simply a case of adding an outgoing rule to allow 1 but block rest.

What is the best way of doing this please ?

Regards

Paul

Hi there,

I would of though it would be a case of just adding a rule like you say and blocking all outgoing if no further rule met and then create another rule just to allow port 25 to your server and block if no further mathcing rule maybe...

Yes, block port 25 to all IP's in the subnet, unless a further match. The further match allowing port 25 from your servers IP.
