With a Draytek 2910 (FW 3.1.2) is it possible to assign a particular external IP to a given internal machine so that when that user surfs the web he appears to be using an external IP on our range but not that of the WAN port ?

I dont want any traffic to come in to his machine, just set it so that his machine has it's own external IP.

Since you don't want port forwarding in to it but want to lock the IP it uses for internet access, you'll need the latest (3.2.4) firmware which has Address Mapping under the NAT menu, that lets you specify which external IP to use for a LAN client. Alternatively, if you can't update the firmware, set that IP as the DMZ, which will do that same thing.

The draytek support site shows that the latest firmware for the 2910 is 3.2.3.1. Is 3.2.4 available somewhere else?

Getting there. 3.2.4 is on the FTP site but no matter what we do when we download and open it it shows as corrupt.

Ok, got the download an upgraded the device.

However, I can't anywhere to set the external IP that a machine uses. I can't see anything that wasn't there before in fact.

Do you know what settings I should be looking at ?
