Vigor 120 web interface/IP address was created by richardmccaig
Using a 120 modem with a 2950 router.

Just upgraded to ADSL 2+ but 120 not recognising and apparently stuck on ADSL. I want to manually change the modulation to G.992.5 but, having (probably) changed the 120's IP address, I can't now access it from the web interface.

Is there a way to determine its IP address/access it from within the 2950 or is it a question of connecting the laptop to it directly to determine the address?

Thanks...

I tried port forwarding on a 2920 but that didn't work. The only thing I can think of is plugging directly into it and refreshing the ip address of your pc.

Agreed. Thanks for trying but it seems that direct connection is the only way. I have asked Draytek Support but no reply (yet).

Hi, we have the same set-up here with 120 and 2950.

Just temporarily connect the Vigor120 directly to a PC. The Modem is likely to be on 192.168.2.1 and give your machine an IP of 192.168.2.10

It should just take a minute or two.

Regards,

Neal

You can also simply connect the LAN port of the 120 to a LAN port on the 2950 then connect another LAN port on the 2950 to the appropriate WAN port on the 2950. No need for temporary re-wiring this way.
