Cannot FTP within private zone was created by allat39
Hi,

I'm still having problems trying to get my Vigor 2820vn to ftp to a NAS unit, so I thought I'd go back to basics.. and I would appreciate ideas for what I'v e missed. Thanks

Turned off firewall on XP computer, and installed Cute FTP 8.
On my NAS unit ensured a share created called 'nasftp' with a password. Changed the FTP port on the NAS from 21 to 23.

On the Vigor, on NAT, PORT REDIRECTION I have created an entry called FTP on index 1, Single Mode, TCP protocol, WAN IP ALIAS 93. X.X.X
Public Port 21, Private Port 23, Private IP 192.168.1.65,

When attempting to FTP I get 'actively refused' message.

What firmware are you running?

I've had NAT loopback issues with 3.3.4

3.3.3 is fine though.

I presume you have bound the NAS box IP to its MAC?
Can you log in to the NAS box management page port 80 from an external IP using port redirection?
