I have.. I have a few things setup such as allowing access to some ports depending on whch IP the connection comes from, outbound filters on port 25 (only my server is allowed to) and oods and sods... but i could not get 135/139 blocked when samba was enabled!

I too have just experienced this - as one poster has stated it as a little worrying that you cant set a rule to block these ports with samba file sharing enabled.

Yeah, I have been having far too many issues with the Vigor 2820 lately. From it randomly blocking VPN traffic, blocking HTTPS packets (but no others) and this NetBIOS thing. There's also the problem with the static routers and port forwarding.

Seriously considering moving to Cisco completely now.

With 3.3.5.1 you can restrict access to LAN only. This stops external access.
