Vigor 2820n can only connect with FW 3.2.1

Vigor 2820n can only connect with FW 3.2.1 was created by hellfire
Does anyone know why I can't connect with Vigor 2820n with any firmware that is not the original one it came with which is 3.2.1, with any other firmware the router will never connect to the internet, everytime a new FW comes out I try but always got to revert to the old one.

Have you checked username and password haven't changed? And the VCI?
