Using a 2910VG as a secondary wireless router at home was created by fauntlers
Hi,
Apologies for the slightly newbie question.
I have internet at home via O2 with the router they provided, but poor wireless connection upstairs in my office. There is an ethernet link from the O2 router up to my office which kinda sorts that problem out.
However, I have inherited the Vigor 2910 from my old company and would like to use that in my office so that I can have several PCs connecting to it via wireless. I simply need it to pass through the internet connection that my O2 router provides.
Is this possible? If so, any ideas on how to set the WAN and internet settings to get that working?
Cheers,
Tristan

Sure set up the wireless settings on it
disable DHCP
Assign the router a lan IP on your current lan.
Plug the ethernet into one of the lan ports
Job Done
