2820 Firmware upgrade with Linux was created by tobiz
How do I do a firmware upgrade for my Draytek 2820 when I only have Linux machines? The 2820 manual says for a firmware upgrade that "Before upgrading your router firmware, you need to install the Router Tools. The file RTSxxx.exe will be asked to copy onto your computer." Since RTSxxx.exe is obviously a Microsoft Windows executable it is not going to run on a Linux machine. So, how do I do it? BTW I think my 2820 is a great piece of kit.

You should still be able to upgrade the firmware via your web browser. Router Tools isn't essential.
