Ladies & Gents,

I was running 2 x 2820s, in WDS mode to achieve the following :-

1 router providing ADSL / Firewall / DHCP etc

2nd, attached via WDS for range extension using the same SSID and the 1st routers DHCP (so devices roam easily from one router to the other).

Thing is, my second router went a bit whacky so I flashed the new firmware on their. I can't seem to get it to work right, thus my queries below :-

To achieve the above, should I be in Bridge (with wireless AP on) or Repeater mode?

Should I put the Wireless Gateway IP address (router1) into the "DHCP Server IP Address for Relay Agent"?
- I want the main router to handle IP addressing.

Should I put the same DNS server settings onto Router 2 (they don't seem to get that info from Router 1).

Is it ok to have overlapping (radio range) SSIDs?

Anything else you can think of?

WIth thanks in advance
Paul
