SBS 2003 Port 4125 Blocked was created by nordberg
Hi,

I have 5 usuable IPs assigned by ISP and most things are working just fine. However, despite SMTP, PPTP, HTTPS all being allowed through with no intervention from me, port 4125 needed for the RWW is being rejected. I am guessing this is because the Draytek does not understand port 4125 traffic and so rejects it outright? If not, any ideas why it's being rejected? I am not using NAT and have input the first of my 5 usable IPs and mask into the "2nd IP Address for routing" on the LAN page....

TIA.

I have a Draytek 2820 and I use RWW with Win 2003 SBS.

I guess just check the port forwarding to ensure the correct WAN IP is being forwarded (or ALL IP's). Check the protocol (TCP) and check the Private IP and Private Port.

Other than that is the server accepting the RWW connection? Do you have a Firewall / ISA server between the Draytek and Win 2003 box?

Lastly, if the Draytek using any non default ports for management, i.e. 4125?
