Syslog - how do you enable it? was created by jem netley
2710n router. Have downloaded syslog from the disc which is 4.1 which has put an icon on Start and downloaded 4.2.2 from draytek.com which has not - I thought it would upgrade 4.1 so i have to go to downloads to open
On 4.1 nothing autocompletes and it is not allowing me to input any data and I cant enable it
On 4.2 The NIC section autocompletes but as with 4.1 I cant enable itI cant seem to make it work/enable it.
OS is Windows 7 is it compatible?

Today I downloaded 4.2.3 and installed to a different folder to the 4.2.1.
Before the instal I did a reg clean up .
I deleted the old desktop icon at the same time.
It starts up OK and works OK
I am on XP
Just a thought have you port forwarded port 514 to the pc running the sys log
Hope this might help
