2710, ap700 and printer woes was created by dmini
Just got these, & thought I had understood it. Then discovered I cannot print from the wireless network.... Anyone out there care to tell me what I've done wrong?
2710vn connected to phone line, ap700 in different room to bridge network across (set in station-infrastructure mode) Attached to ap700 is a zyxel switch, with a NAS, couple of PCs and printer plugged in to it.
On wireless network, can ping PCs, NAS, switch but not printer. If I connect PC to the actual switch these are all plugged into, can ping printer happily. It all worked fine before I upgraded from my USR (well printing did, lots of other stuff didnt).
Have upgraded all firmware on 2710 & ap700.Can now ping printer directly from 2710 as a result of this (couldnt before upgrading ap700)
Is there a limitation about the number of devices you can connect through the lan port, or should I be using a different mode to connect the two?
Hoping I can get an answer before I have to try Draytek support on Monday
:? :(
