Spec sheet for the 2920n states:

Wireless-N 802.11n up to 300 Mbps
The Draytek Vigor 2920n features 802.11n wireless LAN specification and has been certified by the WiFi alliance for cross compatibility and WiFi compliance (including WPA/WPA2 and WMM). 802.11n provides a total wireless bandwidth of up to 300Mb/s using new methods such as packet aggregation and channel bonding....

I have two 802.11n laptops, both of which are connecting to the 2920n using its default settings, at only 150 Mbps (actually 144-149 Mbps). Both of these laptops successfully obtained 300 Mbps connections with my previous wifi router (dLink DIR-855).

What do I need to configure in the Draytek 2920n to be able to connect at 300 Mbps?

I don't have an Advanced Settings Option under Wireless. I noticed in the User Guide that there is an option to set Channel Bandwidth to 20/40 MHz but was puzzled to see I didn't have the option in my web interface.

My 2920n came out of the box with the intial F/w and I discovered earlier there is a F/w update and that one of the fixes may involve allowing me to see some missing options in the web interface, so I will try updating the F/w tomorrow and then see if I can double my bandwidth.

I found this elsewhere:

replace you 4965AGN intel adapter for the Intel Wifi Link 5300 which supports full 300mpbs in the 2.4GHZ band.

with the 4965AGN intel adapter you are limited to 130mpbs in 2.4ghz and you can get full 300mpbs in the 5.8ghz band.

If you goto the Intel Wireless 4965AGN page it clearly states in the bottom of the page: "Friendly Neighbor Assurance
Supports 802.11n standard 40MHz channels only in 5GHz spectrum to minimize negative impact to legacy devices/networks nearby."

http://www.intel.com/network/connectivity/products/wireless/wireless_n/overview.htm

Since my 2 laptops both have the 4965AGN adaptor, I guess this is the cause of my problem (my previous router did 802.11n in the 5GHz band).
