2820 SNMP Setup was created by soulkiss
Hi there.
I have a 2820 that I wish to monitor from an external server using SNMP
I have set up SNMP in the Management section of the UI Configurator and rebooted twice.
Telnetting in shows the following
SNMP Agent is [Enable].
Get Community is [public].

Change your SNMP strings to something that's a bit harder to guess than the standard ones
To check snmp download getifhttp://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/getif.htm and try and query the WAN interface.

Well as this is still in testing and I AM publishing configs to the internet, I think that its probably right to just use the defaults.
To clarify, from a host on the Inside (LAN) of the router I cannot SNMP,WALK (using the standard Linux SNMP toolset) to either the LAN or WAN interfaces, both of which respond to PING/ICMP from inside.
From outside of the network (from the Amazon Cloud to be exact) is the same case, well limited to the WAN interface of course.
UPDATE: Tried GetIF now as well, still no luck.

I have three 2820's that I can not connect to using PTRG but I know the routers are ok as I have 5 others at the same site which I can monitor.

What Firmware levels do you have?
If the 5 that work are on one then maybe there is a level of firmware that SNMP is broken in
