2950 f/w 3.3.0 no syslog was created by nealuk
I am familiar with the Draytek Syslog program, and the required settings on the 2950. This has always worked well, and is useful for troubleshooting, particularly with VPN's etc.

I have updated the firmware on the 2950 from 3.2.5.1 to 3.3.0 and now I don't seem to be able to get any syslog working.

I did do a quick search on this, but couldn't find any relevant posts.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Thanks and regards,

Neal

Was there a new version of syslog when "router tools" was updated?

Ah, good thinking. I had tried using Syslog Version 3.7.1, 4.1.0 and 4.2.1 without success.

I've checked the Downloads section, and it would appear 4.2.1 is the latest version.

The trusty ftp://ftp.draytek.pl/ which is usually at the 'cutting edge' of new files does seem to have a beta 4.2.2 which I might give a try.

Thanks for your ideas,

Neal.

.pl - hmmm I look at the .com FTP usually. I'll try that one!
