2110 with virgin was created by trolleybus
This ground must have been covered previously but a search hasn't revealed what I am looking for. Basically I have a virgin broadband service and want to replace the existing router with the 2110.
I have tried various configurations but can't get the router to give me an Internet connection. There is CAT5 from the virgin modem to the WAN socket on the 2110. Using P1 to connect to my desktop with CAT5 - That's
all for the moment.
Is there a set by step guide of how to configure the router appropriately to pickup the virgin service and could some kind sole advised me of what needs to be done. Assistance would be very much appreciated.

Are you power cycling the CM (cable modem) when you change what it is connected to? If not, you need to.
