Simply sharing an experience...

I have been having problems trying to get VoipTalk to work with my Trixbox behind a 2820. "It's the firewall" say VoipTalk. "Can't be," says I. "I have another SIP Provider and that works fine with the same config."

Any way... My experience was that some changes to the firewall / NAT configs were not taking unless the router was rebooted.

How strange , I only just posted on the same subject in the install problems section , unfortunately for me when i did a reboot 1 of the routers failed and a second I tried simply would not work. (registration issues)

out of interest what version of the firmware are you using ??

do you have a 2820vn (with the built in VoIP bit) and if so did you also disable this ??

Cheers

Firmware 3.3.1.2_232201 Annex A

Yes, I do have a 2820 Vn although I'm not using the VOIP (but I've not changed its state from the default) - Set up looks a little too clunky cf. Trixbox or 3CX.
