Hi Speed Router / Modem for Virgin 100mb! was created by planetwayne
Is there any plans to release a 'Next Gen' Router along the lines of the 2820's / 30's but for Cable and more importantly that has the throughput to handle Virgins proposed 100mb cable service? (to beat it ideally to see a little future proofing)
The routers that are out there at the moment seem to max out at about 90mb which falls short of the mark a little.
I did see on the Draytek.com web site reference to FDDx connectivity which seems to have the speed but not the feature set of the 2820's / 30's (vpns etc).
So...
In short - when can we expect a cable modem speed update?
Cheers
Wayne.

Interestingly, draytek.co.uk product web page claims these do 150mb throughput, the chart you posted only shows up to 100mb
If that is the case then this may well do the job and give a little scope for expansion if virgin crank the speeds up again.
