Hi was upgrading firmware to 3.3.4.1 on a 2820 (not mine)
downloaded from here, then extracted.

it accepted the file (.rst) and said press OK to restart the router.
After restarting it is now stcukk with 3 flashing lights
ACT/USB & CSM constantly flash.

The router still gives out DHCP, (its ip is 192.168.1.1 my laptop 192.168.1.10)

I cant open the browser page, nor can I use the firmware upgrade utility, it just times out.

I have tried holding the reset button in for a few seconds, for up to 30 seconds.
I have tried switching off router and switching on with reset button depressed.

Is it a gonner? anything else to try?

Resolved.

Ran the same firmware upgrade utility from a winxp x86 machine and restored firmware straight away.

Last night I was trying from my works win7x64 machine.

Will email draytek to see if 64bit compatible version available
