Hi, we've just installed a Vigor 2955 and tried to use the P2P application blocking feature. It doesn't seem to be having any effect on torrents, eMule, etc. I've activated the Web Filter and that seems to prevent download of some .torrent files, but existing downloads still work.

I had expected that this P2P blocking would work by inspecting the packets. Is that correct, or does it just use common P2P port numbers?

Can anyone advise on how this needs to be configured for P2P blocking, please? I've tried a search, so apologies if I've missed a previous thread or FAQ.
