Unable to get IP Routing to work (No-NAT) was created by paul_hood
Hi All,
I am unable to get IP Routing to work as per this FAQ:
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb_vigor_2ndsubnet.html
As soon as "For IP Routing Usage" is set to "Enable" the No-NAT function does not function at all.
Info:
Model Name : Vigor2820n
Firmware Version : 3.3.4.1_232201
Build Date/Time : Sep 8 2010 15:39:30
ADSL Firmware Version : 232201_A Hardware: Annex A
8x IP's from the ISP
First Usable IP: x.x.x.145 (also the nat'ed address for the network this is also the routers address)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.248
The device that requires the public IP address is x.x.x.146
so the settings on the device are:
IP: x.x.x.146
Subnet: 255.255.255.248
Gateway: x.x.x.145
DNS: ISP DNS Servers
Any ideas?
Regards,
Paul Hood

are you connecting to the isp via the built in adsl modem? or wan2?

Resolved!
Just make sure the IP addrss is not listed in WAN IP Alias / Join NAT IP Pool.
It just worked as it should after this.
