2820 Router - locking up/ok on a re-boot

Hi, I've got a 2820 Router which for some reason has been locking up all day. It will start working on a re-boot but 10 - 15 mins later it locks up again and no traffic can pass through it.

I've noticed on the data flow monitor that the server is constantly running with between 400 and 2000 sessions - even now late at night with no activity on the network. Although since all the other machines have been turned off I've not needed to re-boot the router.

I know its a server but is this session limit not too high? (I'm no router expert).

Other machines were running with 10 - 15 sessions etc earlier in the day.

Any help/ideas much appreciated

Thanks

Steve

Try a reset to factory configuration, this tends to cause issues where the router quickly locks up.

2000 sessions is quite a lot (for this type of equipment) but the router should be able to cope.
