Vigor2710 configuration backup fails?

I've just bought a brand-new Vigor2710, it has the latest firmware.

I normally do a configuration backup as I set routers up, but when I try the dialog box hangs on "0% of xxx.cfg from 192.168.1.1 Completed" and the file doesn't get saved.

I've got about 20 MAC addresses to bind to this router, so I want to make sure it's OK before I start this massive chore!

Try a different browser/PC.

Not an option. What is the problem?

[UPDATE #1] Have tried a second PC, this time Vista instead of Windows 7. Same problem. Browser is IE8, no way I'm changing that!

[UPDATE #2]I happened to leave my PC for a while after testing this, and it eventually saved the file: after over FOUR MINUTES! :shock:
