I've had a 2820n at home for about a year. It's been stable and, whilst I've seen lots of posts about various routers misbehaving spontaneously or following firmware upgrade, I've almost expected something to happen ... and it has.

I turn the router off when I'm not using it. Today, there was no WAN connectivity and the phone was dead whilst the router was connected to the ADSL splitter. I removed the cable going to the Draytek and the phone picked up it's dial tone. I suspected that the ADSL splitter was faulty so I tried a new one ... but that failed to pick up a dial tone whilst the Draytek was connected to the splitter.

I connected my old Netgear router and that worked fine so it seems that the Draytek is broken. The green lights at the front are all as normal. I've done a factory reset but it still won't pick up a WAN IP address.

Any ideas? I guess I might have to send it back for repair but I'd like to do some more troubleshooting, if possible.

Thanks in advance.
