Vigor 2920
Firmware 3.3.6

I currently have a problem with the router not assigning any more IP addresses. (get given a 169.254..... number)

I have set the start Ip to 192.168.0.160 with a pool of 40 (which should take me to 192.168.0.200)

Heres my currentl DHCP list :-

Code:
DHCP server: Running Index IP Address MAC Address Leased Time HOST ID 1 192.168.0.161 2 192.168.0.163 3 192.168.0.164 4 192.168.0.165 5 192.168.0.166 6 192.168.0.173 7 192.168.0.178 8 192.168.0.181 9 192.168.0.183 10 192.168.0.185 11 192.168.0.186 12 192.168.0.187 13 192.168.0.188 14 192.168.0.192 15 192.168.0.197 16 192.168.0.198 17 192.168.0.199

As you see im only using 17 out of the 40 but the router refuses to allocated new IPs'.

a) Seems to me that the router is not using the ips that are not used ?

b) Is there a way to reduce the DHCP leased time so that they are forgotten?

[update] - a reboot sorted the problem - but I dont want to have keep resetting :S
