Has had anyone setup a Lan to Lan connection from a vigor 2920 to a Server 2008 R2 via Remote and Route Accessing configuration?

I have a 2920 which runs a small network, and I have a rackspace hosted cloud server which I want to have a constant connection with (so it be a member server etc).

The cloud server has a public ip and a private ip.

Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to getting this setup?

I've tried from both the router and the server and the dial-out/in seems to initiate but never connects.

I would initiate this from the server end and have it "dial" the router.

What have you tried on the server ? PPTP ? IPSEC ?
