I am trying to do port forwarding on the 2710n, my ip address is 86.162.146.107, the computer is on ip address 192.168.1.12, the port for the program I am trying to get to work uses port 9080. Do I go to port redirection and use single, service name: remote potato, tcp, public port 9080 private ip 192.168.1.12 and private port 9080, I have these settings entered and when I type in to a url bar 86.162.146.107 it does not connect. Do I have these setting entered correctly, if not can you help me, thanks.

You don't say what type of client you are using at the remote end, assuming it's a web browser it will assume www.myreadynas.co.uk is using the http protocol on port 80 unless you tell it otherwise.

You still have to do http://www.myreadynas.co.uk:9080/
