GRE protocol 47 and VPN was created by sidsmith
Hi All,
I'm tearing my hair out (what's left of it!) trying to set up a VPN thru a Vigor 2600 router (Firmware Version : v2.5.6_UK ).
I've done the usual stuff:
1. Unchecked the boxes in Remote Access Setup Control
2. Forwarded port 1723 to my server's Internet facing NIC.
I get 'error 721 The remote computer is not responding' when verifying username and password when trying to connect from client.
The SBS 2003 event log entry shows a connection was established but not completed and suggests gre 47 error.
Any ideas please?
Sid
