Physical Mode incorrect was created by oliverm
Hi

We have inherited a 2820n. We want to enable WAN2 to connect to another line we have here.

In the General Settings we have enabled WAN2 and the Physical Mode shows as Ethernet as it should be. The Physical Mode option isn't a drop down, just a fixed string.

In the Internet Access settings however WAN2 shows as having a physical mode type of ADSL. As a result all the actual settings for WAN2 are ADSL settings not Ethernet settings.

I can't see how we can tell the router that WAN2 is an ethernet port not an ADSL port, given that the Physical Mode shows as correct in the General Settings page.

Any idea whats going on?

This is running v3.1.2. Oddly, we also cant update the firmware. When we click the upgrade button the progress bars appear and then we get a "page cannot be displayed" page appear. The firmware never gets updated.
