Draytek 2820 - IP addresses range was created by unrealone1
Hi there all,
I have my Draytek 2820 router and have moved offices to a new broadband supplier. They have given me these details:
Starting IP Address x.x.155.4
IP Mask 255.255.255.252
Number of IP Address : 4
IP Range x.x.155.4 --> x.x.155.7
I normally have just the one static IP address, why have they given me 4 and a subnet as well?

With a starting IP of x.x.155.4 the subnet mask (255.255.255.252) tells the router is also "owns" the other 3 IP addresses.
Why they have given you mupliple IP addresses if you only need one is a mystery.....
