I'm having some issues with a new 2830n and am trying to make sure only the functions that need to be enabled are. Could someone explain to me if and why UPnP should be enabled if I only intend to use UPnP between devices on my local LAN. I have no intention of using UPnP across the Internet but do have UPnP devices on my internal LAN. The user documentation is not very helpful - it does seem to indicate that I should enable UPnP if I intend to use it within the local LAN (I don't know why?). The configuration interface says:

"If you intend running UPnP service within your LAN you should check the appropriate service above to allow control, as well as the appropriate UPnP settings"
