Is the router restricting uploads for Skype?

Hi,

I have a Vigor 2110n. All seems well with my 20Mb downstream, 2Mb upstream link from Virgin until I use Skype. I can accept video but cannot get reliable video out. This is the same on all PC's connected to the router, either wired or wireless.

Virgin don't seem to throttle the traffic as video in is fine. I have just witnessed an O2 connection between Scotland and Korea which was stable and fast so this begs the question, why is video not possible out on a 2Mb uplink as Skype only needs around 600K?

No other software or PC is using the bandwidth so this leads me to think there may be a router setting that is restricting it?

Thanks.
