Hi,

We are using Draytek 2820 Series. Now we have block facebook for all employee but i want to open it for one specific IP. How can i do this. I check in filter setup ..i create one rule and source IP and edit it ..select ip object ..after click ok its not taking me to the original filter page ..its staying at the object settings -- ip objects only..

I think i am doing something wrong or is there a issue with my router...please help...

It sounds like you're clicking the IP Object link on one of those pages maybe when editing the source IP, you need to create an object there if you want to use IP objects and then re-make the rule selecting that object you've made using the dropdown box rather than the link.

To except IPs you need to make a filter rule (under #2 default data filter set if you're not familiar with linking filter sets) with the source IP as the one you want to allow and since it's a URL or web content filter, set the action to pass if no further match and leave the URL/web content filter profiles set to None. That'll allow that IP past the filter then.
