Incorrect login detail when accessing from externally

Incorrect login detail when accessing from externally was created by shed
I have a Vigor 2950 series (v3.2.4.1) router, I can login to the router without problem from internal (https://192.168.1.1)

When I try to access to the router from external using ISP IP - I can see the login page but it would not let me login... whats wrong??

Forgive the obvious question:

from System Maintenance - Management, have you ticked the "Allow management from the internet" box and also the HTTP server box?

on the same screen, under Management Ports Setup what is shown for the HTTP port?

That firmware is quite old on the 2950 - perhaps it would be worth trying latest one?
