What firmware for BT Business Broadband?

Over the last month, I have had my 2800 fail to sync with BT Business Broadband while the BT Business Hub is fine. I have had two engineers out and a dodgy line was replaced and having spoken with DrayTek Support, and trying the 3 firmwares they sent over (E.67.36.1, E.67.02.12 and Y.1.28.187), I still can't sync. I've also tried E.38.2.23 and E.67.2.40 with the same issues. Internet connectivity was fine for the last 12 months and strangely it just stopped. I was able to use 3G as a backup for a while which was fine from the 2800 but this isn't a long term solution.

SNR varies between 5.5 and 8; line attenuation is between 35 and 40.5; I've tried all the settings e.g.

GDMT
Multimode
ADSL 2+ Auto
ADSL 2 Auto
G.Lite
T.1413
ADSL 2+ Annex M

... and upload tends to be 704K to 992K and download is between 5587900 and 6079900.

and

I even bought a 3200 but reboots every couple of hours and then goes into a reboot cycle. To stop that, one needs to power it off for hour. Yes, I have restored to factory defaults via a firmware flash.

This is really bugging me - I liked Draytek and the BT Business Hub just doesn't offer the same level of configuration as the Draytek models so I really need to find a solution.

Thanks for any help you can offer - perhaps if you have a working BT config, you can return by clarifying the settings please so I know I have it set right?

The 2800 can't cope with ADSL2 lines. I think you would have been better getting a draytek with a built in modem... the 2820 or 2830 - rather than the 3200? It'll have suddenly gone mad following "upgrades" at the exchange
