Password reset was created by logicearl
Hi, just installed a new 2830n and trying to set the passwords.
When changing for the first time, it gives you 3 fields to fill in.
Old password - New Password and Confirm Password
Since the basic options hasn't any password set, do I just leave the Old Password field blank, and just type in the new password in the remaining 2 fields, or what?

And as for the Advanced config, do I input the default password in the Old Password field and then the new password in the remaining 2 fields?

TIA

To add to what I've said.

I have installed a password for the advanced section and that works ok.
If I then try and log on using the Basic setup, it won't let me in.

Does this mean that by setting the one password, that covers them both?
