trying to set up a smart monitor PC for my vigor 2820.
the smart monitor webpage is reporting the error

Cannot monitor for the firmware version of the Vigor router.
Please upgrade its firmware.

the 2820 is running FW 3.3.5.2_232201 which is the latest firmware.

Please advise.

tried reinstalling both Smart Monitor and also reloading the firmware.
didn't make any difference.

very frustrating...

It seems Draytek have not yet mastered this on the 2820

I'm not sure about the 2830 but TBH after all the time I spent on this with the 2820 only to finally be told it just doesn't really work, I'm not sure if I will bother with it

I'm using it just fine on a 2820 running one of the beta firmwares, I'm surprised it would've come up with that error on 3.3.5.2 as well.

Maybe ask draytek if they can send you the same beta that I'm using? I've got R28878 on this one.

Also use SmartMonitor 2.2.2 rather than the one from the UK site, it works somewhat better.
