If you read the instruction manual, it tells you this on one of the first pages. I decided to not read the instruction manual and wasted half an hour on this :lol:

I changed the admin password to admin.

Now if I log in as admin/admin it works, if I log in as blank/admin it also works. The admin pages seem to be identical.

Once you are in as admin/admin, you can switch off the normal user account, and change the admin password

Can you tell me how?

Goto:

User Management
User Profile
Profile1 - admin (this is the admin account)
Profile2 - this is the standard user account

Click the number 2 on profile 2, then you will see a screen where at the top, you can untick the box to disable the standard user account

Let me know if that works for you, it works on my Vigor 2830
