2920 and Buffalo Wireless-N Nfiniti ip conflict problems

I've got two Wireless NNfiniti Ethernet bridges (WlI-TX4-AG300NEU
What I've noticed if I plug any device into these the bridges the bridge gets assigned an extra iP address. So device A mac address aa-bb-cc-dd-ee-ff gets an ip address of 192.168.1.6 the bridge mac address a2-b2-c2-d2-e2-f2 will get assigned the same address plus it's own original ip address.
This then causes a conflict warning although everything works regardless.
Any ideas?
The 2920 is using the 3.7.1 firmware from America and the buffalo is using the latest firmware.

Worked round it by making the devices on the Ethernet side of the bridge use fixed ip address's rather than dhcp.
Not the best of solutions but works.
