I had new FTTC installation today, Taking over from a very slow ADSL

Set the 2850 up in advance and it worked with some impressive speed compared to ADSL, 20Mbps down 1Mbps Up

BT engineer while on site said he was happy with that (and so was I) but said the line was capable of 28Mbps and 7Mbps, according to his tests.

He also left me a Bt "router" that came with the line.

Having decided to have a play!! I am now running on there "router" set as a modem and the Draytek using PPoe on Wan2 this is giving me 27.5Mbps Down and 6.5Mbps Up !!!!!

I can only presume this is a software issue on the draytek

Has anyone else experience this?

Any setting that can be changed or shall I Just stay with the Bt Box

Bit Pissed off as i change the router from a 2820 just so i didnt have an extra box in the way
